Pierce: Well what’s it going to be? I want to buy the rights to your handshake. Do we have a deal?
Troy: Pierce we’re about to take Shirley to the hospital, this is not the time.
Pierce: Oh, it’s the time. According to my watch [he holds up a fistful of money] it’s one thousand o’clock.
Troy & Abed: Deal.
Pierce: So how does it work?
Troy: I don’t know, we just kind of do it when one of us says something awesome.
Pierce: Alright. Betty Grable! [They look at him strangely] I said Betty Grable. [He holds up his hands for Abed, who slowly high-fives him & then turns away like he’s ashamed].
Troy: [seeing how sad Abed is] No.
Pierce: Yes.
Troy: [starting to cry] … No.
Pierce: Do it. Make your money, whore.
[Troy high-fives Pierce and breaks down in tears]
Troy: Who’s Betty Grable?!
